Think about the first time you dropped your child off at the JCC Early Childhood Center. Did you feel excited or anxious? Were you impressed by the warm welcome your family received from the teachers and administrative team, but still nervous to say goodbye?
Now, recall how you felt when you walked out of the ECC for the last time. Think of how much had changed, how much your child had grown—socially, intellectually, emotionally, and physically. Were you nostalgic? Did you find yourself wishing you could keep your child in the same nurturing, stimulating environment that they had grown so used to during their time at the school?
If you felt this way, it’s because the ECC is more than a school—we are a community, filled with generous and supportive individuals. Our staff and families work together to give our children the most innovative, inclusive education possible. We all take part in teaching our children to cherish the Jewish values we hold so close to our hearts.
For the 2016-2017 school year, our organization was proud to offer 40 families financial assistance—as a result, 40 children just like yours received the invaluable gift of child-centered, constructivist education.
“I am continuously amazed at how much my children learn each day and the strong friendships they have formed with classmates and teachers. I could not be happier with my choice of the ECC for my children’s preschool years.” –Michele Weingarden
As Director of the ECC, I witness the tremendous impact our scholarships make in the lives of our families every day. We are hoping to continue offering this gift to more children in our community for the upcoming school year, but we need your help.
Our goal is to raise $90,000 to for the 2017-2018 school year, so we can continue providing financial assistance to the families in our community who need it.
Please consider contributing to our scholarship fund—no amount is too small. Every donation makes a difference.
