A summer spent at JCC Camp Shai, Ranch Camp, Tennis, or the JCC Mizel Arts and Culture Center is sure to inspire growth that will continue for a lifetime. With specially tailored programs and productions, our campers are exposed to a world of new experiences that will expand their perspective, foster curiosity, and connect them with lifelong friends. Summer camp at the J is a chance for children to step out of their comfort zone and toward their wildest dreams.

The activities campers can engage in are many, and cater to a wide array of interests. Journey through Middle Earth with Bilbo Baggins in a Wolf Theater Academy production; learn about Judaic traditions through story and song; go on a field trip to the Denver Zoo or Miner’s Museum; or perfect serving skills on the tennis courts. Camp is a never-ending treasure trove of opportunities! No matter their interests, our campers always come away feeling inspired, invigorated, and empowered by their experiences here.

Studies by the American Camping Association report that day camp campers learn and grow in ways that impact them for the rest of their lives. We see evidence of this every day, as our campers interact with their beautiful Colorado surroundings, discover the contagiousness of a good belly laugh, and forge new relationships – with others, and themselves.
