Help sustain YOUR Jewish community
In March, 2018, the JCC Denver, JCC Ranch Camp, and the Mizel Arts and Culture Center began its participation in the Live On | Life and Legacy program, a four year partnership program of the Harold Grinspoon Foundation and the Rose Community Foundation. This program helps Jewish communities and organizations across the nation to secure legacy gifts, steward donors, and integrate legacy giving into the philanthropic culture of the Jewish community—all to ensure the long-term sustainability of these organizations and the community as a whole. The JCC Denver, JCC Ranch Camp, and the Mizel Arts and Culture Center join over twenty-seven other Jewish organizations in the greater Denver area in this important initiative.
What is a Legacy Gift?
With a legacy gift, you will keep the Jewish community strong. You will positively impact the lives of people you know and love, as well as the lives of those you will never meet. Legacy gifts give you a special chance to reach into the future and shape lives not for dozens, but for hundreds of years.
Legacy gifts are unique because they are self-sustaining. These gifts are used to build our endowment funds, which produce a steady flow of income year after year, for as long as they exist. So, by giving a legacy gift, you will make it possible for the JCC to continue its programs and serve your community for generations to come.
And the best part? A legacy gift is easy to make and costs you nothing during your lifetime.
Ways to Give
Legacy gifts help you meet your philanthropic goals and extend your generosity well into the future. These amazing gifts make significant impacts, but cost you nothing during your lifetime. And there are many ways to leave a legacy gift:
What to Give
Just like there are many ways you can leave a legacy gift to the JCC, there are also many types of assets you can give—the options are almost limitless! From cash and stocks to real estate and life insurance, legacy gifts can take many different forms, one that can reflect your unique goals and financial needs. If these don’t look like the right options for you, know that there are other assets you can leave as a legacy gift! We encourage you to discuss all your options and goals with an attorney or financial advisor.
