Start Your Holiday Shopping at Our Annual Ceramics Sale!
Update your sculpture and functional ware collection at the JCC Annual Ceramics Sale, November 9 -12. The four-day sale will showcase an array of pieces, from small cups to large decorative objects, all handcrafted in-house by our wonderful JCC student talent.
The featured collection offers something for everyone. Ranging from black stoneware with contrasting surface designs to delicate porcelain items, as well as colorfully saturated pieces, every product has been curated exclusively by the J’s multidisciplinary artists who expertly incorporate their experiences in mixed media, collaging, and acrylic on canvas into their work.
Among the selling artists are Kayle, who creates coarse, animal-embodied menorahs that encapsulate the duality of simplicity and maximality; and Allen, who forms intricate, glaze-centric bowls mostly in variegations of blue.
Other items for sale include utilitarian dinnerware mugs with unconventional handles, as well as artisanal clay micro-sculptures to gift a friend with this upcoming holiday season. Large, eye-catching centerpieces will also be available, to accent that open space in your living room.
Whether you’re an everyday DIYer or a cultured aesthetic, we are confident you’ll find something at our sale, and all proceeds directly support the J’s microeconomy of artists. Stop by the Main Lobby on Thursday from 10:00 am – 8:00 pm, Friday from 10:00 am – 6:00 pm, and Saturday-Sunday from 10:00 am – 5:00 pm.
