Friday, January 27, 6:00: Join us in sharing a short Kabbalat Shabbat Service and Shabbat meal in a comfortable, relaxed, and queer-centered space. The meal will be kosher and vegetarian, with vegan options available. Tickets are available on a sliding scale with hardship pricing available.
Sunday, March 5, 3:00 PM: Join the Challah Prince, Idan Chabasov, as he leads a challah braiding workshop themed around Purim. Each participant will be taught to intricately braid their own challah loaf that they can then take home, bake, and enjoy!
Thursday, April 20, 7:00 PM: Avi Liberman’s quirky style has made him a favorite in comedy clubs from Los Angeles to New York. Born in Israel, raised in Texas, college in New York, and now living in Los Angeles, his style is a winning combination of life experiences and topical issues told through a varied blend of characters and voices with worldwide expertise.
Exhibit: April 1 - 30 Discussion: Wednesday, April 26, 6:30 PM: Documentary and fine art photographer Paul Margolis will discuss his stunning black and white photography of Jews, Christians, and Muslims in Israel and present a PowerPoint lecture on the work. His photos of Israel show merchants, fishermen, rock festivals, and other compelling scenes that capture the vibrancy of daily life in Israel.
