Celebrate Pride with the Denver Jewish Community!
Pride Shabbat @ JCC Denver: June 23
6:00 – 7:00 pm Kabbalat Shabbat (Free)
7:00 – 8:30 pm Shabbat Dinner (Additional cost)
Organized and led by LGBTQIA+ leaders in our community, Pride Shabbat will start with an energetic Kabbalat Shabbat service (Friday night service that welcomes Shabbat) that is built around celebrating the joy of Shabbat and the joy of Pride.
Jewish Community Booth at PrideFest: June 24 – 25
Denver PrideFest, organized by The Center on Colfax, is a two-day festival that celebrates our LGBTQIA+ community. PrideFest 2023 includes hundreds of exhibitors, dozens of food vendors, three stages of live entertainment, a family area, a Youth Area, and more! The Jewish Community of Denver will have a booth in the family area of PrideFest where we will be making Pride-themed friendship bracelets and lanyards, and of course, doing plenty of schmoozing!
Pride Parade: June 25
For the 2023 Denver Pride Parade we are taking submissions from the community for signs to be used at Pride Parade. These can be submitted as simple sayings or wording, pictures of a drawing, or the best option, fully designed graphics. Multiple submissions are allowed. Winning designs or ideas may be subject to design updates to make them as legible and impactful as possible during the parade. The designer will be notified if any changes are made.
The deadline for submissions is May 31, 2023, at 11:59 pm. For questions contact Daniel Siegel, firstname.lastname@example.org
