Nearly Two Decades of Inspiration: Toby Meyer’s Artistic Legacy at the JCC

For nearly two decades, Toby Meyer has inspired creativity at JCC Denver, helping students of all levels build confidence, explore their artistic voice, and form meaningful connections through art and community.
Art Meets Community

Each spring, the Mizel Gallery fills with something special: artwork created right here in the JCC’s studios by local artists who gather weekly to explore their craft together. The Interactive Artists Group Annual Art Show is both a celebration of their work and an invitation for the wider community to experience the creativity happening inside the JCC.
Where Art lives, not just hangs

Walk through the doors of the JCC Denver on any given day and you’ll see something that rarely happens in a museum or gallery. Children hurry toward ELS classrooms. And quietly, all around them, art lives alongside these moments. The JCC is a living, breathing organism—not a museum…
