Resource Guide FAQ’s

The impetus came out of a somewhat constant call for referrals: “I’m new to town, where should I go for a family-friendly conservative synagogue?”, “Any good bar mitzvah DJ’s?”, “Where can I take adult Hebrew classes?” We know the resources out there are plentiful and want to ensure there is a comprehensive guide with those services for the community to utilize.

Yes! If you read about each listing option HERE, you can see both the Ahava and Chaverim listing levels allow for a description of the organization. The Ahava listing allows for up to 120 words and the Chaverim listing allows for up to 40 words.

This will become a yearly publication to be released every August.

The written guide will be distributed to the community at large – they will be available for free to anyone who walks through the JCC Denver. We will also be providing the organizations/businesses that join a handful of copies to give to whomever they choose.

The placement will be determined on both the size of the purchased advertisement and how many we receive.

The online resource guide will be a page on the JCC Denver website.

Like the hard copy, the electronic resource guide will be on our website for one year until the next publication comes out. For instance, this first resource guide will be on our website from August 1, 2023 – July 31, 2024.

Advertisements will only be in the hard-copy printed Resource Guide. You can see that information HERE.

There will not be an advertisement on our website – only the listing option your organization has selected.

You may create your own “slide” or image for the television with a logo/description/QR code/etc. that meets the requirements of 1920 x 1080 and is a .PNG file or .JPG file.

Within a one-hour span, one slide on the TV will be shown 30 times. Right now, we are only utilizing the televisions for JCC programs and events. In the off chance we receive many requests for the TV ads, the “30 impressions per hour” will decrease closer to 20 impressions per hour.

Yes. We are open 5:30 am – 9:00 pm from Monday through Thursday, 5:30 am – 7:00 pm on Friday, and 7:00 am – 7:00 pm on Saturday and Sunday.

We only have JCC programs and events on our televisions at this time. We are excited to expand our usage of the monitors for the community who participates in the Resource Guide.

We have TV monitors in the gym, though they are reserved only for fitness and aquatics programs. The four television displays for the Resource Guide advertisements will include those in the lobby (2), by the social hall (1), and by the Early Learning School (1).
