Our J Family had a GRAND time at the Grandparent/Grandchild DCT event on Sunday, March 11.
Thanks to the Intergenerational Programming Department here at the J, the MACC’s Denver Children’s Theatre, and MazelTogether, 37 attendees were able to celebrate the opening of DCT’s Sleeping Beauty, all while spending quality time with one another.
From 11:00 am to 12:30 pm, grandparents and grandchildren were able to enjoy a kosher family-style lunch, partake in magical arts & crafts, and attend the grand opening of DCT’s Sleeping Beauty (discounted tickets were compliments of Intergenerational Programming–so kind!).
The children who attended this special program ranged between the ages of one through nine and many were dressed to the nines in their fun themed costumes–what’s cuter than a bunch of little princes and princesses? Pictures don’t do them justice, but we can try.
