Paint your own Birkat HaBayit with Annie Aqua

Join artist and calligrapher Annie Aqua in this engaging class for all skill levels to create your own
Birkat HaBayit (home blessing) art piece.

Participants will learn simple calligraphy techniques in English and Hebrew to write the blessing from Deuteronomy: “May you be blessed when you come
in, and may you be blessed when you come out,” which will then be decorated with watercolors.

Guidance for formatting, design, imagery, and color palettes will be provided, but participants are
encouraged to get as creative as they’d like in imagining and bringing their art to life! Everyone will
leave with their own house blessing in a standard size for framing, for their own home or for a
thoughtful gift.
