Drawing and Colored Pencils

Description

In this course, participants will develop foundational and intermediate drawing skills through the study and practice of key artistic principles, including shape construction, proportion, scale, composition, texture, and detail.

Students will explore techniques for creating depth, value, and realism through the application of analogous color blending and intentional directional pencil strokes.

Through observation and guided instruction, participants will strengthen their technical abilities while building confidence in visual representation.

Subject matter will include still life, botanical studies, landscapes, animals, and portraiture, providing opportunities to apply drawing concepts across a variety of artistic contexts.
