Apple Cake + Plum Torte

Apple cake and plum torte are two traditional cakes eaten at the Jewish new year.  We will make Deb Perelman’s mom’s famous apple cake and the Marian Burrows plum torte made famous by The New York Times.

This class is offered on a sliding scale model. The sliding scale price model asks participants to be honest in evaluating their own circumstances and self-select the pricing tier that is right for them. This provides increased accessibility and helps support the Denver Jewish community in living Jewishly.
