Project Description
Come listen and learn about two historic moments from the comfort of the JCC! In March, for Women’s History Month, explore the answers to the following questions: who was Eleanor Roosevelt and Jacqueline Kennedy? What were their foods, perfumes, decorating styles, relationships, and mothering styles like? What famous quotes are attributed to these two feminine icons of America’s history and culture? In April, learn about Jews of the Diaspora and their movement into Europe. Then in May, learn about the Jews who built America. Find out all this and more as Armchair Traveler into History explores different time periods. This event is free to attend and requires registration. For any questions or concerns, contact Blair Becker via email at bbecker@jccdenver.org or by phone at 303–316–6320.
