Protect Yourself and Your Family: Join us to learn more about genetic testing during a special one hour Zoom presentation on Wednesday, September 18 at 7:30 pm, hosted by JCC ELS parents Stacy Moss and Sarah Morris, for individuals with at least one Jewish grandparent (not gender specific). The Jewish community is officially designated as a high risk community for developing women’s GYN cancers, pancreatic and prostate cancer, and melanoma, while 35 – 55% of positive results are missed if we only test those with a history of cancer in their family. Genetic counseling is offered through Jscreen should it be needed.
