Challah Braiding Together

Join us for a heartwarming and hands-on experience with Luisa Hagermeir, the talented owner and baker of Challahrado Hearth. Luisa will kick off the event by sharing the secret braiding to her signature, mouthwatering challah dough.

Event Highlights:

  • Date and Time: March 15, 2024 at 1:00 pm
  • Location: JCC Lobby.

What to Expect: Luisa has graciously pre-made her delicious challah dough, and now it’s your turn to get creative! Together, we’ll embark on a braiding adventure, exploring the various sizes and shapes of challah, each carrying a special meaning.

  • Symbolic Braids: Whether it’s three, four, or six strands, the braided challahs are a sight to behold. The intertwining of the strands symbolizes love, creating a visual representation of connected arms.

Bring Home the Love: After an engaging braiding session, you’ll get to take home your personally crafted challah to bake at home. Watch as your creation transforms into a golden, aromatic masterpiece, ready to be enjoyed with friends and family.
