Join your JCC Family to celebrate Sukkot by helping decorate our community sukkah and bring a dish to share for the community potluck!
Monday, October 2, 4:30 – 6:30 pm.
Bring your dinner (or a dish to share) and a blanket and join other community members in the open air as we celebrate the Jewish holiday of Sukkot. Sit and schmooze with friends, or help your little ones experience the joys of decorating the sukkah.
During the holiday of Sukkot, you build a Sukkah – a temporary home, that you are supposed to eat and live in for the duration of the holiday. There is a mitzvah to invite and welcome others into your “home” during the holiday, at the JCC Denver we welcome everyone and invite you to help create a beautiful sukkah of inclusion.
This event is free, all ages welcome. Bringing a dish to share is not required to attend.
