Wolf Theatre Academy offers immersive summer intensives designed to give students meaningful, professional-level theatre experiences. Through focused training and hands-on performance work, participants build skills, confidence, and collaboration in a real-world theatrical environment. Summer intensives take place in professional spaces, with programs for grades 4–7 in the Pluss Theatre and grades 8–12 on the Wolf Theatre mainstage.
One of Denver’s most acclaimed youth theatre programs, offering opportunities to work alongside professional theatre artists and be part of award-winning productions that are open to everyone. Students will develop acting, singing, and dancing techniques in an intensive rehearsal schedule that culminates in sold-out performances in the Elaine Wolf Theatre. For all the theater aficionados out there, this is your time to shine!

Agatha Christie’s Murder on the Orient Express

Auditions: December 6 | 1:00 – 4:00 pm in the PLUSS Theatre
Production Dates: January 10 – February 14
Students will audition for the winter production of Agatha Christie’s Murder on the Orient Express, upon acceptance of the role, students will spend 5 weeks developing their characters, exploring physicality, and practicing essential performance skills to bring a fully staged play to life! From rehearsals to showtime, they’ll build confidence and teamwork in this high-energy experience! Please go online to and register in the portal for the program. You will not be charged until you have accepted a role after auditions.
About the Show: Murder on the Orient Express follows famous detective Hercule Poirot as he boards the luxurious Orient Express traveling through Europe. When a wealthy passenger is found murdered in his locked compartment, the train becomes a crime scene—and with a snowdrift stopping the train, the murderer must be one of the passengers. Poirot interviews everyone aboard, uncovering secrets, lies, and surprising connections as he races to solve the mystery before the killer strikes again.
Rehearsals take place Sundays from 1:00 – 4:00 pm, Tuesdays and Thursdays from 5:30 – 8:00 pm until the final week for dress rehearsals and performances.

Wolf Theatre Academy is looking for 4 students interested in gaining hands-on experience in Technical Theatre to bring a production to life behind the scenes. Throughout the program, students will work alongside the WTA production team each week to help create and execute the technical elements for our winter production of Agatha Christie’s Murder on the Orient Express. From behind-the-scenes production work to the excitement of performance days, students will gain valuable experience and see firsthand how all the pieces of a live production come together. During the run of the show, students will put their skills into action by serving as Front of House and Run Crew, playing an essential role in making each performance a success. This is an exciting opportunity to build technical theatre skills, work as part of a professional production team, and experience the magic of theatre from a whole new perspective!
Rehearsals take place Sundays from 1:00 – 4:00 pm until the final 2 week for dress rehearsals and performances.

Summer Theatre Youth Intensives

Students will dive into the world of acting by developing their characters, exploring physicality, and practicing essential performance skills. In just two weeks, they’ll rehearse and bring a fully staged play to life! From rehearsals to showtime, they’ll build confidence and teamwork in this high-energy experience!
Regular camp hours are Monday – Friday from 9am – 4pm. One performance will take place outside regular hours on the Thursday evening of the second week of each camp. A more detailed schedule will be provided the week prior to the start of each session.
