Stacy Swiggart

Assistant Director of Tennis

Stacy was a four time Big 8 Tennis Champion for Oklahoma State University.  She has been ranked #1 in Women’s Open Singles in Nebraska and Texas, and has 7 Gold Ball National Titles in Husband/Wife, Mother/Son and Women’s 40 and 50 doubles.  Stacy served The Tennis Center at Steamboat Springs as Director of Operations, Leagues and Merchandising for 25 years.  The Swiggart family was named as the Colorado Tennis Family of the Year in 2014. Stacy was recently inducted in to her High School Hall of Fame in 2019.

Jacob Ohrman

Originally from the state of Washington Jacob was a top ranked junior in the Pacific Northwest. At age 17 Jacob received the honor to play on John Newcombe’s traveling team where he played overseas in several tournaments including the Junior International Clay Court Open in Edinburgh, Scotland and the Junior Scottish Open. Jacob attended the University of Colorado and competed on their snowboard team for 3 years. After graduating from CU in 2012 Jacob came back to his love of tennis and started his career as a teaching pro. Jacob has now been coaching full time in Denver for 8 years. In 2017 Jacob took over as the head coach at Mullen High School. In just 3 years he has taken the program from a top 20 school to 2nd in state and captured their first ever individual state championship at number 1 doubles. Off the court Jacob loves getting outside snowboarding, hiking, and camping.

Ben Deluca

Ben has been coaching tennis for over 6 years, but tennis has been a central part of his life since he was 8. Hailing from San Francisco, Ben ran youth tennis programs at the Bay Club SF and coached high school teams in the city. He played tennis and served as team captain for Lewis & Clark College in Portland, Oregon. After graduating, he coached at the Oregon Elite Tennis academy, coaching some of the top juniors in the Pacific Northwest with former ATP doubles #1 Jonathan Stark. He also coached for the USTA, at their new facility at Vancouver Tennis Center, before moving to Denver in December 2019. He still tries to find time for tournaments and match play, provided he can handle the altitude.

Tyffani Thomas

Tyffani Thomas transitioned from working as a General Manager and Pastry Chef in the restaurant business (including two top ten in Colorado) for ten years’, to starting her career in the tennis industry, full time, in the summer of 2013. She is an eager and innovative coach with more than ten years’ experience in coaching and over twenty years’ experience in playing; including USTA Southwest Section, top ten for singles and doubles, and a full athletic scholarship to Montana State University – Bozeman, a Division I College.  Tyffani is a USPTA Certified Professional and has spent the past five years working as a private coach in Denver, where she specializes in proper technique, mechanics & foundation, as well as strategic & positioning and point construction.

Jamey Swiggart

Tennis Pro

Born July 25, 1994 in Steamboat Springs, Colorado… son of Jim and Stacy Swiggart. Jamey played tennis for Steamboat Springs High School as #1 singles 20082012. He continued tennis career at Division 1 Idaho State University leaving a 25-10 record, second team all conference, and freshman of the year before transferring to the PAC 12 University Of Utah. In his 2 years at Utah Jamey played as high as 2 singles and one doubles against top ranked teams in the nation while finishing his collegiate career as a Captain of his team. He has been coaching at the JCC for the last year in a half.

Andy Booth

Former Director of Tennis at The Snowmass Club in Aspen, Colorado, Andy is a USPTA Elite Professional, twice elected as President of the USPTA Intermountain Division. He’s had great success in taking league players to the next level through strategic court positioning and stroke production. In addition to being a hitting partner for Johan Kriek (two-time Australian Open Champion), Andy has worked with Jose Higueras (former Federer coach) and Dr. Jim Loehr (author and sports psychologist). In 2018 Andy was inducted into the Miami Valley Tennis Coaches Association Hall of Fame in recognition of achievement as a High School Player and Collegiate Tennis Player and as a mentor to various tennis organizations throughout the country.
