Begins September 13 with Dancing With Giants – Tickets on sale now!
Welcome to the 12th Annual Denver Neustadt JAAMM Fest! Our Jewish Arts, Authors, Movies and Music Festival brings a taste of national and global Jewish culture to metro Denver every year and is truly the most comprehensive Jewish cultural arts festival in all of Colorado. We are proud to present a lineup that is diverse, innovative, forward thinking, immensely entertaining –and most significantly—intersects at the forefront of culture and community.
This year’s JAAMM Festival truly has something for everyone. We have live storytelling events in a world of formats, from a podcast recording (Tablet Mag’s Unorthodox) to a stand-up comedy performance (the iconic Judy Gold) to a lecture from MSNBC’s chief legal correspondent (Ari Melber). We have music groups you know and love (such as a’cappella sensation The Maccabeats and prolific music producer/composer/journalist Ben Sidran, co-writer of “Space Cowboy”) and musical acts we can’t wait for you to discover (from Judeo-Arabic world music headliners Yemen Blues Plays Hallel to the debut of contemporary Jewish pop singer/songwriter Taali). We share Jewish culture past (with classic Yiddish film The Dybbuk) and present (see The Newish Jewish Encyclopedia) and somewhere in between (such as New Yorker cartoonist Bob Mankoff’s collection of favorite Jewish cartoons). We have biographical documentaries on Jewish cultural icons, from Leonard Bernstein to Gilbert Gottfried. We have three theatre productions, one of which features the inimitable star of stage and screen Tovah Feldshuh. We have Emmy Award winners and National Jewish Book Award winners. We have powerful stories of Holocaust resistance, complicity, and education. And more!
We look forward to seeing you this fall at JAAMM Fest!
