Shai Shuffle 

Shai Shuffle is our new variety camp! Camp Shai has partnered with local vendors to offer a variety of special interest programming. Shai Shuffle is ready with an array of offerings for an unforgettable summer! Focused instruction in a camp setting will inspire campers to take risks and try new things. Offerings include gardening, cooking, woodworking, rock climbing, and tennisThese weeks of camp will give you two hours of specialized instruction as well as free swim, and group games. On Fridays, campers will join the whole camp for Friday FUNday, wrap up their projects, and join in on our camp-wide Shabbat celebration.

To ensure age-appropriate instruction, we will have two groups: Grades K – 2 and 3 – 6.

EKAR Farm is gearing up to bring an urban farm experience that will enrich campers’ connections to Judaism, the earth, and the community. We’ll participate in a week of hands-on educational activities that will include a variety of fun summer activities such as farm work, gardening, environmental and Jewish learning, story-telling, and farm-to-table snack preparation.

Kids’ Carpentry is designed to teach campers practical woodworking skills with an emphasis on the safe use of hand tools. Note: Only families that have registered for Camp Shai during weeks one – eight are eligible to register for weeks nine and ten. Parents must sign up for two other sessions in addition to any week in August in order to be eligible for registration.
