This summer, we will be running our programs in one- and two-week sessions. The majority of the summer (June 12 – August 4) will be split into two-week sessions. This is a common practice in the summer camp industry and allows campers the chance to really build community with their fellow campers and counselors.

First and foremost, we invest in hiring the best of the best in quality staff members. We know that investing a lot into our staff ultimately turns into a welcoming, safe, and magical experience for your camper. We provide on-site training for all staff members to ensure their understanding of emergency procedures, best practices for working with campers, and a certification in CPR and First Aid. We strive to run our programs at an 8:1 ratio of campers and staff to ensure that kids at Camp Shai feel supported and safe.

Additionally, your camper’s tuition supports our ability to run hands-on programming for campers that blends learning and fun in interactive and exciting ways. The additional cost of our Specialty Camps goes towards partnering with high-quality vendors in the community who bring expertise and years of experience to our programs.
