Camp Shai focuses on universal human values (middot) with a Jewish lens. We embrace everyone who wants to be a part of our community. We welcome campers of all backgrounds. If you like games, being outdoors, and having the best summer ever, Camp Shai is the place for you.

In Hebrew, Middot translates to ‘values’. Camp Shai focuses on the values of kindness, community, respect, and good sportsmanship. In fact, these values permeate every aspect of the camp from the staff to the campers to the activities.

Each group will swim once a week. On other days, groups may be playing some water games or participate in activities where they might get wet. It is always a good idea to pack a swimsuit and towel (and an extra pair of clothes for our first-time campers).

Camp Shai does not provide meal service. Please pack AM Snack, Lunch, and PM snack with your camper every day. We do provide challah and grapes on Shabbat.
