Covid-19 Safety Precautions
At Camp Shai, we take COVID-19 precautions extremely seriously and operate within state health guidelines and best practices as determined by CDC, Colorado Department of Health and Environment, and the American Camping Association. The precautions we take include:
Face Masks
Masks will be required for large, group gatherings indoors during the summer.
Being Outdoors!
We will hold as many activities as possible outdoors to increase air circulation. In classrooms, all rooms have air purifiers as well as clean and well-functioning HVAC systems.
Vaccinations
Full COVID-19 vaccination is a requirement of employment at the Staenberg – Loup Jewish Community Center, and all Camp Shai staff will adhere to this policy. Families are strongly encouraged to make sure that campers are up to date on their COVID vaccinations by the start of camp.
Sanitization and Cleaning
We have a rigorous cleaning and sanitizing schedule for the whole campus. We sanitize equipment and spaces between groups.
