You’re invited to the JCC Mizel Arts and Culture Center’s 1st Annual Latke-palooza!
Celebrity chef, author, and YouTube sensation Jake Cohen – author of “Jew-ish: A Cookbook”, hosts our first-ever latke competition, featuring latkes from four local restaurants – Rosenberg’s, Safta, Latke Love, and Rye Society! The restaurants will compete for the Golden Latke, awarded for the best overall latke + toppings.
Attendees will have the chance to taste each restaurant’s combination of latkes and toppings, and vote for your favorite!
While awaiting the final tallies, Jake will speak about his book and the inspiration behind his new take on classic Jewish cuisine. The event ends with Jake awarding the winner and signing copies of his book!
