Creative kids color outside the lines.

At the MACC’s Summer Art Academy, skilled artists, who are also experienced educators, nurture the creativity and curiosity in kids in kindergarten through high school through immersive art classes in all mediums–including painting, drawing, ceramics, mixed-media, printmaking, filmmaking, jewelry design, and more. Students have an intensive art experience using quality materials in a studio environment. Whether they are learning the history of art or developing works of pure imagination, young artists will enjoy expressing their inner visions.

MACC Art Academy Offerings

The classes are structured in one week, two week and three week sessions for a total of 11 weeks. This provides the opportunity for a young artist to participate in a theatre experience, learn to throw on a pottery wheel, and/or learn to draw, paint, or sculpt. Most experiences, (except production classes), allow for an mix and match of AM and PM classes across Academies. You may also pair MACC classes with Serve, Snack & Splash for a varied experience.

For full day campers, supervised lunch is included in camp fee. Campers enrolled in half-day MACC camps have the option to enroll in supervised lunch (this is required for campers under 12 who are enrolled in both a morning and afternoon camp).

The MACC is excited to bring all Academy classes back to the JCC & MACC campus at 350 South Dahlia Street.

Round-trip transportation will be offered Week 1 – 9. The camp bus will pick campers up from:
• Arapahoe & I-25
• Cherry Creek High School
• Stapleton
• University Hills
