Denver Swimming Lessons for All Ages & Abilities
Swim like a fish!
The purpose of our swimming lessons is to give children an opportunity to create positive associations with water through play and exploration.
We offer private lessons for all ages and abilities.
Parent Baby Class (6 months – 3 years)
Baby-parent class introduces infants and toddlers (6 months to 3 years old) to the aquatic environment. The class is designed for children to enjoy the water exploring body positions, back floating with assistance, submerging under water, jumping from the side, and singing songs together. Parents or guardians are in the warm water with their child learning activities they can use when they come to the pool. The class is not intended to teach young children how to swim or survive in the water on their own.
Level 1 (3 years – 5 years)
For young children and/or infants. This class is designed to teach parents how to have fun with their baby in the water all while introducing basic water skills. Students will work on comfort in the water, floating, and gliding for short distances.

Level 2 (3 – 7 years)
For the swimmer who is comfortable with submersions and can float independently. This is a class where students will learn streamlining, freestyle, and the foundations of backstroke.
Level 3 (4 – 9 years)
For children who can consistently swim freestyle and are ready to learn side breathing. This is a class where students will improve stamina and backstroke progressions. Students will also be introduced to breaststroke and butterfly kicks.

Level 4 (5 – 11 years)
For the swimmer who can complete freestyle with side breathing. This is a class where students will learn to execute all four strokes: butterfly, breaststroke, backstroke, and freestyle. Students will also get an introduction to flip turns and starts (dives).
Level 5 (5 – 12 years)
For the swimmer to work on the technique for all strokes. This is a class where all aspects of stroke will be critiqued. Swimmers will also solidify flip turns and starts (dives).
Once your child has completed this level they will be evaluated for our pre-swim team. Please contact our Coach Jackie via email to set up an evaluation.
