Why We Chose Amilia for a Stronger JCC

Like many JCCs navigating multiple disconnected systems across departments, we recognized the need for a more integrated, efficient, and future-ready approach. Over several years, we carefully evaluated a wide range of options. Ultimately, Amilia—paired with Salesforce—offered the most comprehensive solution to streamline our processes, reduce duplication, and support long-term growth. This transition positions us to better meet community needs while building a stronger, more cohesive operational foundation. 

We understand that there are elements of this transition that have had a few bumps, and we appreciate your patience and understanding. We are working with both our partners at Amilia and Salesforce to continue to improve features.

Adding Your Picture to Your Membership Record

  1.  Download the Amilia app available in the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
  2. Log in to your Amilia account.
  3. Click the Account button. 

  4. Click on the name of the person whose photo you want to add. 

  5. Click the Change Profile Picture link and take a new photo or use one from your Photo Library. 

  6. You’re done! 

Enrolling in Group Ex Classes

Group Exercise classes in Amilia are registered as drop-in classes. All Group Exercise classes are free, other than Pilates reformer classes, which require prior approval and the purchase of multipasses. 

Group Exercise classes may be booked up to 7 days in advance. 

  1. Click here to view the Group Exercise calendar from a desktop or mobile web browser, or click the Fitness category in the Amilia app. 
  2. By default, view all classes by week, or use the filters at the top of the page to view specific class categories. 
  3. When you have found the class you wish to register for, select the blue Register button.

     

  4. Select the blue Person Icon next to the person you wish to register.

     

  5. Select the blue Checkout button.
  6. Select the white Continue shopping button to add more classes to your cart or select the blue Proceed to checkout button once you are done selecting classes. 
  7. Select the blue Proceed to payment button, and you are registered for your classes. 

Dropping/Canceling Group Ex Classes in Amilia

Group Exercise classes may be canceled up to the start of class. 

  1. Find the class you wish to drop on the calendar. A green checkmark will indicate you are currently enrolled.

  2. Click the blue Register button.

  3. Select the red Unregister button. 

  4. You have now dropped the class. 

Using the Waitlist for Group Ex in Amilia

  1. If a class has no open spots, the wait list button appears in place of the register button. Select the waitlist button.

  2. Select the name of the person you wish to add to the waitlist. 
  3. Confirm the contact information is correct. You will be notified via email if a spot becomes available.

  4. Click the blue Add to wait list button. 
  5. You will receive a confirmation email indicating you are on the waitlist. 

Claiming Your Spot From A Waitlist

If a spot becomes available, you will be notified via automatic email. You have 24 hours to claim the waitlist spot before it moves to the next person on the list. 

  1. Open the waitlist spot available email and select the blue  Register now button. If you no longer wish to have the spot, you can also select the blue link Remove from the waitlist. 

  2. Follow the regular enrollment steps to claim your waitlist spot.

Updating Your Method of Membership Payment 

  1. Log in to your Amilia account at https://app.amilia.com/ 
  1. Navigate to your Wallet. 
  1. Add your new payment method under the Payment Methods tab. 
  1. Go to the Upcoming Payments tab (Found in your wallet) 
  1. Click Edit Payment next to your membership. 
  1. Select your new payment method and click Save. 

Allowing the JCC to Use Your Payment Method for Purchases

  1. Log in to your Amilia account at https://app.amilia.com/ 
  1. Navigate to your Wallet. 
  1. Under the Authorizations section that will be listed under the credit card or bank account that you added, use the dropdown to select JCC Denver. This allows us to bill your payment method on file. 

Invite Additional Family Members to Have an Account Login

  1. Log into your Amilia account on a mobile web browser or desktop web browser
  2. Navigate to the People tab on the left
  3. Select the name of the person you want to invite from the people list
  4. Select the Invite to join family account at the bottom of the screen
  5. Click the blue Send invite button to send the invitation

Recent Amilia Updates and Other Features Coming in 2026

Family/Group Membership Check-In: To save you time, last week Amilia introduced a new group check-in model.  Now, instead of having to scan in each member or individual associated with a specific membership, the front desk team can scan one person associated with the membership, and all the others show on the record as well, allowing you to enter the JCC more quickly and get to your planned activities. 

Phone or Key Tag Multiple Check-In: There are now multiple options for checking in at the desks. You can use your key or the Amilia App both connect to your membership record.  

Transaction Receipts: Amilia recently released new transaction receipt logic. The person who makes the online transaction will receive the confirmation of their invoices by email, as well as the account owner (if they are different people). In the future, they will be adding more flexibility to let the user decide who should receive transaction receipts, if both or only one person.
