Indoor Pool Open

The indoor pool has been re-opened following a repair to a broken pipe.

The indoor pool is closed due to a pipe break. Repair has been contacted. We’ll share an update once we have a timeline.

Alameda Road Closure

Please be aware that Xcel Energy will be conducting utility work on E. Alameda Ave. between S. Holly St. and S. Dahlia St. beginning Monday, July 13, 2026, with an anticipated completion date of August 17, 2026. 

 

As with any construction project, this timeline is subject to change and could be shorter or longer depending on weather, field conditions, and construction progress. 

 

In anticipation of work being conducted on S. Dahlia St., the JCC will open the lower parking lot exit onto Leetsdale during drop-off and pick-up times. This exit will be designated as a right-turn-only, exit-only route to help alleviate traffic exiting onto Dahlia. We will extend these hours as needed.  

 

Construction work hours: 7:00 a.m.–7:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, and 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. on Saturdays 

Traffic between S. Holly St. and S. Dahlia St. on E. Alameda Ave. will be shifted so that vehicles traveling in both directions share the westbound side of Alameda. 

 

The intersection of E. Alameda Ave. and S. Dahlia St. will remain open. 

 

The intersections at Hudson St., Grape St., Glencoe St., Forest St., Fairfax St., and Elm St. will be closed at E. Alameda Ave. 

 

Traffic delays and detours are expected. Please allow extra travel time when visiting the JCC. 

Traffic between S. Holly St. and S. Dahlia St. on E. Alameda Ave. will be shifted so that vehicles traveling in both directions share the eastbound side of Alameda. 

 

Construction activity will also extend north to Cedar Ave. and south along Dakota Ave. near these intersections. 

If Xcel’s work impacts power at the JCC, we will provide updates as soon as possible via email, text, social media, and our Alerts page. 

 

The JCC Denver will remain open and accessible throughout the project; however, you may experience detours, lane closures, or minor delays when traveling to and from campus. We encourage members and guests to allow a few extra minutes for travel and to follow all posted detour signage. 

 

Additionally, the JCC will have additional staff available to help direct traffic in the parking lot during peak hours. Please help us keep our community safe by remaining extra vigilant and following staff instructions when entering and exiting. 

 

We appreciate your patience as this important infrastructure work is completed and will share any significant updates if the construction schedule or traffic impacts change.

Fitness AC Issue

The Fitness Center air conditioning has been restored and is operating again.

While the system is back up and running, it will take some time for the affected areas to cool down to a comfortable temperature. JCC Denver and the Fitness Center remain open and operating as usual.

Thank you for your patience while we worked through the issue, and we appreciate your understanding as the space continues to cool.

The Fitness Center air conditioning is currently down. A repair technician has been contacted, and we are awaiting an estimated time of arrival. The fitness center and JCC Denver is open and operating as normal, just be warned some areas are warmer then usual.

Please be aware that the affected areas are currently very warm. We appreciate your patience and will provide updates as soon as more information becomes available.
