Donald Sturm

As many of you may know, Donald Sturm, was a very generous benefactor to the JCC Denver, Mizel Arts and Culture Center, and of Ranch Camp. Don passed away August 17, 2024 at the age of 92 years of age.

Don and his family have made significant investments in the JCC and particularly Ranch Camp, including the high ropes course and zipline, modernized bathroom and more recently, the new Ranch Camp Pavilion (stage), where we celebrate Shabbat and come together for entertainment and gatherings. Last year, Don generously provided a matching gift that helped produce significant results for the JCC and JCC Ranch Camp during the end-of-year campaign.

The Sturm family’s contributions have enriched the lives of our JCC and Ranch Camp family and helped strengthen our community, leaving a legacy of kindness and impact that carried on by his family.

We are grateful to Don for his support, advocacy, and inclusive efforts within the Jewish Community.
