A Klezmer Weekend for the Books
May 17-19 was the inaugural weekend of JCC Denver’s first music festival: KlezKolorado. The festival was held at JCC Ranch Camp with over 120 people in attendance from across the Front Range and the U.S. Festival attendees enjoyed various workshops, from history lectures to hands-on klezmer music, and even dance lessons. Over the weekend, eight performers wowed the crowd, in addition to plenty of jam sessions! To get a taste of the experience, check out this Saturday night performance.
