T4K On the Horizon

There’s never a shortage of things to look forward to at the JCC. With sights set on spring, there’s one event you’ll want to pay special attention to: our Tzedakah 4 Kids fundraiser! T4K is a two-day long effort to raise money for the Robert E. Loup Scholarship Fund, which provides financial aid for families in the JCC’s ELS program and premiere summer camps. This telethon-like event is 100% in service of the young people in our community.

It’s no secret that the ELS and JCC camps are highly sought-after programs for children of all ages and interests. Ranch Camp presents opportunities for adventure and growth, while immersed in the stunning Colorado outdoors. As said by one Ranch Camp parent,

“My camper got to experience what could possibly be once-in-a-lifetimes adventures. He pushed himself to limits he never imagined, made great connections with staff and other campers, and learned life-long skills. It was truly a summer to remember.”

Not only do campers find emotional growth, they are given the chance to connect with their heritage and learn about Jewish tradition:

“After going to camp this year, I feel incredibly more in touch with my Jewish identity than before. The encouragement from this year’s staff made me happier than I can say and I will forever be grateful. I hope I can come back as a counselor someday and give kids the same wonderful experience that I had.” – 2022 Ranch Camp camper

For many families, sending a child to summer camp or enrolling in the Early Learning School would not be possible without the help of a scholarship. That’s what makes the T4K fundraising event so important; the financial aid it generates is crucial for numerous families, and allows many young people to access vital opportunities for growth and enrichment.

“I cannot express how grateful I am to have my daughters at the JCC Early Learning School. As a scholarship recipient, my family has access to quality schooling; without which, we wouldn’t be able to attend. We became a part of a beautiful community the moment my oldest daughter entered the infant classroom. The teachers are knowledgeable and loving, the staff is responsive and friendly, and the families are warm and welcoming. I cannot imagine sending my daughters anywhere else.” – ELS Parent

We hope you’ll be able to participate in our T4K fundraiser on March 6-7! This telethon-like fundraising event is one to keep an eye out for. Check out our website for more details about how to participate and donate!
