New Year, New Family, New Snow!
Wow! I can’t believe it’s already January! We’re so excited about what 2023 has in store and I, personally, can’t wait to watch our Ranch Camp family grow and thrive this coming summer.
The third week of January is especially fun for the Ranch Camp team. We’ve spent the majority of this week interviewing our new international delegation from Israel and beyond – we couldn’t be more excited about the staff we’ve already met. It’s been great to hear how much of a splash Ranch Camp has made overseas, with many of our staff from 2022 recommending their peers to join our team for the upcoming summer.
Not to mention, we are in the middle of hiring a part-time Outdoor Education Coordinator, who is going to work alongside our year-round team on outdoor skills, as well as create experiential education programs that can be offered all year long to local school groups and corporate retreats. We’re excited to see this team continue to grow, and have their expertise be utilized by our community on an even larger scale.
The only thing unfortunate about the third week in January is the famous ‘W’ word – waitlists. We’ve got a BUNCH of programs for 2023 that have already hit that mark for the upcoming summer. If you have been waiting to register, or if you have friends who are hesitating to sign up, I urge you to act fast! Our EQ program only has space available in Session 3, so now is not the time to dawdle.
As camp sits quite literally frozen in time, every visit to our beloved ranch brings me one step closer to summer – an idea that always puts a smile on my face. Given our two feet of snowpack in some sections of camp, I’m confident this summer will be the year of the wildflower. We’re in for quite a beautiful camp season!
