Dear JCC Friends,

The Development Department has the unique opportunity to interact with our donors on a personal level to find out what moves and inspires them about the J. We thrive on those relationships and are extremely grateful for your continued generosity. We love to share the direct impact of your gifts and how your support connects us all as a community and provides opportunities for life-long friendships.

We see your gifts applied to every area of the J creating a Journey, from pre-birth classes for new parents, to attending preschool at the ELS, taking tennis and swim lessons, participating in the Maccabi Games, watching children grow at Camp Shai’s Day Camp or the beautiful Black Forest of Ranch Camp, to attending programs at the Mizel Arts & Culture Center, to Jewish engagement to senior programming. We see how your gifts improve our pools, tennis courts, and fitness centers and your legacy gifts will ensure that the J remains strong and functioning well into the future. What a privilege and honor it is to watch your gifts at work. We appreciate each and every one of you!

Here are a few examples of how your gifts have a meaningful impact:

“I feel FREE! This morning is the first time in months that we have been out of the house. This morning I saw the blue sky and felt the early morning sun on my face. We spent our time in the shallow end of the [JCC] outdoor pool and it was glorious. Just glorious. We are no longer house bound and can slip into the water and exercise and breathe fresh air. It is life changing to be outside and safe.”

The financial aid from the JCC has allowed my two-year-old to stay enrolled in school during a financially difficult year for our family. Being enrolled in school has provided stability and normalcy for our child which has shown in his improved behavior since returning to school. We are so thankful to be a part of the JCC community and are so grateful for the scholarship opportunity.”
