Trust me…I get it! You’re busy, you’re tired, you’re overworked and overwhelmed with the day to day grind.

Call a sitter, throw on some of your fave 80s attire and come have a cocktail (or two) with your fellow parents, have an incredible 80s dance party, and help raise serious moola to help support our teachers and new tumble equipment for our adorable offspring!

As a parent of two kids in the ELS, I have heard and been a part of the good, bad, and even ugly, conversations about this past year, and all the ongoing changes and transitions the ELS has gone through. I, like many of you parents, want the best for my children, especially when it comes to their day-to-day care and of course, their education. I love the ELS program, but it is apparent that they need more support. That is why I am asking my fellow JCC ELS parents, and the JCC community at large, to please get involved! I want, more than anything, to create an environment that not only supports our children, but also supports our incredible teachers. That is why I am going to this year’s Annual JCC ELS Fundraising event on May 10.

My goal for attending this year’s fundraising event is to connect and meet with more parents and like-minded community members. It is my hope that we can all come together and figure out how to support our teachers. Our goal of the Parent Association is to raise funds for areas of the school in which teachers need more financial and physical support.
