Whether you are new to Denver, or just looking to broaden your group of Jewish friends and resources, GesherCity Denver is the perfect gateway to the Jewish Community. Based on the idea of Cluster groups, GesherCity connects you with other like-minded young Jewish professionals.
GesherCity provides information and one-stop shopping for all things Jewish for people in their 20’s and 30’s. GesherCity’s free resources include a calendar of events, roommate/housing referrals, discounted High Holiday tickets, social clusters and much more.
A cluster is a volunteer-led group based around a common interest (i.e. cultural, spiritual, educational, social action, neighborhood, social, hobby, professional, age group, and lifestyle). If you don’t see one you like, please feel free to suggest an idea for your own cluster, and possibly take on the “bite-sized” leadership role of running the cluster!
GesherCity is a non-profit organization that helps to “bridge” young adults to the Jewish community by providing access to personal networks and information resources. The over all goal of GesherCity is to establish a global network of GesherCity “Bridges” under a common name that can be recognized by Jewish young adults everywhere; as well as to enhance the Jewish community by building collaborative relationships and developing new community leaders.
GesherCity also acts as a central resource for Jewish organizations in the area by providing them with a place to market their events and by facilitating collaboration between groups.
GesherCity is getting ready to launch in the Denver and Boulder area. Now it is up to the community to step up, spread the word, and get involved!
