The purpose of the JCC’s south expansion is to provide accessible opportunities for Jewish and interfaith families who reside in South Metro Denver to establish a meaningful connection with the Jewish community, strengthen their Jewish identity, and build relationships with other Jewish families and organizations in the greater Denver Jewish community. The JCC hopes to broaden its presence and build on the success of the Center’s Family Programs primarily in response to the 2007 Metro Denver/Boulder Jewish Community Study, as well as supplementary data collection, which indicates ongoing population growth of Jewish and interfaith families in the South Metro Area. In fall 2010 the JCC received a generous grant from Rose Community Foundation to help fund these efforts.
