The goal of the Parent Involvement Committee (PIC) is to support and encourage the partnership between families, teachers, and staff at the JCC ECC. The PIC sponsors numerous activities and events including holiday festivals, children’s safety events, and staff appreciation activities. The PIC is an integral part of our school’s success, and it is the main mechanism for parents to get involved in their child’s school experience.

We would like to encourage ALL families to get involved in the JCC ECC community in any way they can. There are many opportunities to participate that encompass a variety of skills and time commitments, ranging from a couple of hours for a specific event to ongoing activities.

Here are a few ideas for specific ways to support the ECC, classes and the PIC!

• Join the PIC
• Attend a PIC meeting (check out the school calendar for details)
• Share a talent in your child’s class (read a story, make a snack, share music or a craft)
• Donate supplies to support the ECC (check your class wish list, PIC upcoming activities; ask a Room Parent, Teacher, or staff)
• Volunteer to support an ECC event
• Join in the fun at Shabbat on Friday at 9:30 a.m. in the JCC Main Lobby
