March 7, 2016

As we look forward to Spring, and new growth, it is beneficial to also look at our own growth. Introducing children to art and theatre at a young age can have a lifetime impact in developing a love of the arts. For younger children, they are sure to enjoy the Denver Children’s Theatre production of Art Dog while older children might be interested in one of our many MACC art and theatre camps. For adults, consider expanding your musical repertoire with some of the artists our resident Shlicha Michal introduces us to. If your goals are more health based, be sure to check out the upcoming wellness seminar on Inflammation later this month. Regardless of where or how you are doing it, it is good to never stop growing and learning so march into March with something new.

Michal’s Monthly Music Blog

My name is Michal and I’m the Shlicha here at The J. One of my biggest loves in life is music, especially Israeli music. I want to share this passion with you through my blog.

Each month, I write and share a few songs about an artist or band that have had a big impact on me, but are not necessarily part of the Israeli mainstream music scene. This month, I have chosen to write about Ester Rada, an Ethiopian singer-songwriter. I hope you enjoy! Read the Post.
