Around the JCC
Pilates Registration Now Online Starting Sept. 1, JCC Sports & Fitness Center members can register for Pilates programs whenever and wherever they prefer via the Internet. If you haven’t signed up for a JCC program online yet, registering is as simple as 1-2-3: 1) Go to www.jccdenver.org and click on “Online Services” 2) Click on “Member Login” 3) Click on “Register Here.” If you are a first-time user, enter your account information. You will also need your member number the first time you sign-in online. Your member number can be found on your paper statements, or you can request it from the JCC accounting department at accounting@jccdenver .org. Please include your full name and street address. We will respond to your e-mail within one business day.
Alef-Bet Soup: Ingredients to Jewish Living Co-sponsored by Shalom Family and Stepping Stones, this new program offers parent education on Jewish rituals, holidays, and life cycle events to parents who did not experience a Jewish childhood themselves but are raising Jewish children (newborn–5). Sessions provide participants with resources, an understanding of what to expect at Jewish events, and opportunities to make connections to each other and within the community. Alef-Bet Soup meets from 9:30–10:30 a.m. every other Monday Sept. 8–Dec. 1. Cost: $80. To register, call (303) 388-1198.
Sport & Fitness Members Receive Ritchie Center Passes It’s the newest collaboration among Denver fitness centers! JCC Sports & Fitness Center members receive six free visits to the University of Denver’s Daniel L. Ritchie Center
for Sports & Wellness. The visits grant JCC S&F members full access to the Coors Fitness center, so go ahead and try out the 50 meter pool or keep up with your regular workout on upcoming JCC High Holiday closure days. If you develop an attachment to DU’s unique amenities, such as the skating rink, S&F members can take advantage of the new add-on “joint membership” option starting at $39 per month. Stop by membership today to ask for your redemption card as well as more information.
10th & 25th of Each Month is Guest Day at the Sports & Fitness Center The good news for Sports & Fitness Center members keeps coming! The 10th and 25th of each month are now free guest days. Feel free to plan in advance, year-round, to share all that the S&F Center offers — cardio machines, weights, classes, full-court basketball, racquetball, pools, whirlpools, the men’s shvitz and much more, with friends and family twice a month.
