The JCC and Skyhawks present The Sports Solution to build stronger bodies. Children in camps that span ages 4–14 are organized into age-appropriate sub-groups.
A.M. Camps run from 9 a.m.—noon
P.M. Camps run from 1—4 p.m.
Take advantage of our bulk rates! All Sports Camps (excluding Wii Camp, Super Bowl and Jr.Maccabi) are priced as follows:
JCC: Single camps $145, purchase 6 or more camps for $135 each
(4 day camps are $120)

Baseball

Aspiring baseball players get their first taste of the game during this super safe, fun camp. Children start with the basic skills of the game.
Basketball
Ages 6—14
June 21—25, A.M.; July 26—30, A.M.
This basketball camp is designed for beginner and intermediate players. Skills improve while strengthening the fundamentals of passing, shooting and dribbling. Campers put their learning to the test during an end-of-the-week tournament.
Super “Bowl”
Ages 6—14

It’s Back to the Future with our new Bowling camp. In this one week intensive bowling experience campers will enjoy virtual bowling, gym bowling and field trips to the bowling alley for the real thing. This camp is for the beginner and the pro-bowler alike.
Dodge Ball Camp
Ages 6—14
Aug. 9—13, A.M.
Come and have a blast at our new dodge ball camp. Learn and play many different kinds of dodge ball such as Dr. Dodge Ball, Jail House Dodge Ball, Official Dodge Ball and more.
Flag Football
Ages 4—6 (minors) Ages 6—14 (majors)

Flag football camp is a terrific, safe and fun introduction to a sport rich in tradition. Players learn the rules, as well as the strategies of offense and defense, along with the core skills of passing, catching and de-flagging.
Floor Hockey
Ages 4—6 (minors) Ages 6—14 (majors)
June 21—25, A.M.; July 26—30, A.M. July 19—23, A.M.
Aspiring hockey players get their first taste of the game in this age appropriate setting. Plastic youth sized equipment will be used.
Indoor Soccer
Ages 4—6
June 14—18, A.M.; July 19—23, A.M.
A great place for aspiring soccer players to get their first taste of the game. This indoor camp offers the basic skills of soccer such as passing, shooting and ball handling.
Mini-Hawks
Ages 4—6
June 7—11, A.M.; July 6—9, A.M.; Aug 9—13, A.M.
Young children explore soccer, baseball and basketball in a half-day program setting. There’s no pressure, just lots of fun while young athletes participate in all three sports through unique Skyhawks games. Our coaching staff is trained to meet the special needs of young children and is committed to helping them start off on the right foot into athletics. Camper/staff ratio is 8:1.

Multi-sport sessions provide kids with the opportunity to spend the summer playing a variety of sports: soccer, nuke-‘em, capture the flag, GaGa, kickball and more. Weekly field trips to bowl and play putt-putt are included, and every Friday is spent poolside at the JCC.
SNAG Golf
Ages 5—8

“Starting New At Golf” (SNAG) is a revolutionary new training system for beginner golfers using the best golf equipment around. SNAG’s approach to teaching golf is fun, creative and educational. Camper/staff ratio is 8:1.
Soccer
Ages 6—14
June 14—18, A.M.
Young athletes learn the fundamental skills of soccer (passing, ball handling, shooting, defensive positioning and game strategies) through fun games and drills at this camp. Participants regularly test their new expertise, skills and strategy through interactive group activities and scrimmages led by experts from Skyhawks.
Wii Sports Camp
Ages 6—14

Back by popular demand this enhanced Wii Sports camp brings all new sports to life. Experience archery, canoeing, cycling, Table Tennis, Frisbee Golf, Basketball and all of the traditional Wii favorites. This camp will conclude with our own Wii Olympics in honor of the JCC Maccabi games coming to Denver August 1-6.

The tennis and aquatics departments pair up again to offer nine weeks and Post and Last Chance Camps. Swim instructors and the tennis PeeWee pro instructors lead two groups; girls and boys ages 5–8 years. Emphasis is on learning and improving “strokes” on land and in the water. Five to six year olds start with tennis; seven and eight year olds swim first. The two groups join for snack time at the outdoor pool pavilion/play ground area. *Groups will be combined during camps in weeks 10–12 for a more recreational experience. Serve Snack and Splash (Majors): Tennis & Swim Camp

The tennis and aquatics departments pair up to expand our swim and tennis combo camps for older campers. Swim instructors and the tennis instructors lead groups; girls and boys ages 6–14 years.
