Sleep-away camp
JCC Ranch Camp
The JCC Ranch Camp encourages children to grow within while having fun, developing new friendships, learning age-appropriate new skills, and creating memories to last a lifetime.
The Ranch Camp has served thousands of campers since 1953. Owned and operated by the Robert E. Loup Jewish Community Center of Denver, the camp is open to children entering grades 2 through 11 with special programs designed for each age. Campers reside in log cabins in groups of eight to twelve, with two to three counselors.
Ranch Camp sits on 400 acres of ranch-land in Colorado’s magnificent Black Forest, providing opportunities for campers and staff to experience such activities as hiking, climbing, camping, and biking. The camp has a heated outdoor swimming pool, a technical rock climbing wall, a state of the art and high low-elements ropes course, nature and crafts centers, three acres of athletic fields, and hosts approximately 40 horses each summer.
Some of our features include:
- Small cabin groups with low camper to counselor ratios
- Heated pool
- Red Cross swim instruction
- Kosher camp kitchen
- Friday night and Saturday morning Shabbat services
- Overnight adventures
- Western horseback riding instruction and trail rides
- High and Low ropes courses
