Since 1935, the JCC’s Early Childhood Center (ECC) has provided an outstanding experience for young children ages 12 weeks–5 years. We have found that children learn best when they feel safe, nurtured and valued.

Our caring and experienced staff encourages a love of learning, enthusiasm for exploration and discovery, and a high regard for self and others. The result is an environment that offers one of the city’s finest early childhood programs.

ECC Registration
Families who are not currently enrolled at the ECC may call or stop by the ECC for registration/lottery materials. We strongly encourage parents to tour our facility in advance of the lottery. Parent/Toddler Preschool Class
Serving as an introduction to preschool, children 12–23 months experience creative arts, circle time, social interaction and more with the comfort of a caregiver nearby. Led by a teacher who facilitates age appropriate activities, the class includes time away from parents and caregivers to help children learn independence. This program runs from 9–10:30 a.m. and 10:45 a.m.–12:15 p.m. with classes for a full academic year. Classes meet once a week on Tuesdays. Tuition is $143 per month/non-member, $119 per month/JCC member.
