Warm Welcome Playdates and Visits
This is a weekly lactation support group in partnership with The Mamahood. Receive 1-on-1 expert advice with Sarah Choinard, certified lactation consultant from The Mamahood Community support and experience-sharing (you are not the only one dealing with this!) Weigh-in at the beginning of group and at the end of group so that you have a clear understanding of how much milk you are producing.
We are in the midst of confirming dates, times and costs for this program scheduled to start in Spring 2016.
Join the Family Programs Department and the JCC ECC every Friday morning for a Shabbat celebration. Following songs and Shabbat prayers, parents and their babes will relocate to our Living Room for snacks, coffee and conversation with friends and caring facilitators. Topics might include: transitioning to solid foods or how to make your own baby food, organic vs. non-organic, affording childcare and preschool, sibling rivalry, pets and babies, feeling isolated, preparing to go back to work, intimate relationships, feeling sexy, baby and me yoga, etc.
