The Reading Jungle
Enjoy some “Family Time” in room 205. Open the door and discover a great place to spend time with your young children at the JCC. The Reading Jungle is our delightful family library filled with Judaic and mainstream children’s books, parenting and teacher resources, CDs and toys. With Tales from The Jungle and Play group Gatherings, we’ve created many opportunities for you to come and enjoy this wonderful space.
Tales from the Jungle and Grandparent/Tot Story time
Friday mornings, 10:30 a.m., Room 205
Great for caregivers and their children ages 1–5
Please join us every Fridaymorning from10:30 – 11:15 a.m. in the Reading Jungle, for stories, songs, dancing and more. We will share stories from The PJ Library, as well as some of our personal favorites from our library collection. This program is FREE and open to any and all who would like to participate. Play group Gatherings Are you looking for a new place to hold your next playgroup? The Reading Jungle at the JCC is the perfect spot. Warm Welcome
Let us make your first steps easier
Mazel Tov on your new baby! We know there’s so much for you to do and learn. Let us help; we offer caring support, a connection to community resources, a way to meet other new parents, and a gift basket that includes information on child development and parenting skills! Shalom Baby gives you all this and more through a Warm Welcome visit from a trained volunteer. There is no charge for this service.
Your Warm Welcome Visitor will:
- Provide support and Jewish community resources
- Provide materials on your baby’s health, safety, nutrition and development
- Invite you and your baby to join in age-appropriate community activities
Your Warm Welcome Gift Basket contains:
- Developmental information from Colorado Bright Beginnings
- A Jewish parenting book
- A Jewish lullaby CD
- Complimentary JCC one-year family JCC membership
- Other free gifts for you and your baby
