Tze’Adim campers will have the opportunity to develop interests and skills in particular areas, while also exploring their independence and strengthening their self-confidence. Campers are given a choice of two different chuggim (electives) each week. Daily instructional swim (free swim once/week), Jewish life, Israeli culture, and music are part of their of their morning schedule, while chuggim are their own special afternoon activities. Shabbat celebrations and activities bring the entire camp together on Friday afternoon. Maccabiah Games/Color War will be spent at DJDS with all Camp Shai South and North campers. A day trip to JCC’s residential camp, Ranch Camp, in the Black Forest one time per session, and a late-night overnight with Camp Shai South and North Tze’Adim campers will provide an opportunity to meet new friends and try new activities.
