L’Dor V’Dor – From Generation to Generation

Since 1953, JCC Ranch Camp has established a strong tradition of community that is built around and devoted to our campers. It is a place where life-long friendships are born, Jewish identities are discovered and nourished, and children are challenged to grow in mind, body and spirit.

Why Ranch Camp

The community and environment camp provides. My kids feel that they are not judged at camp, they can be who they are, feel comfortable, very welcome, and part of the community. They love being with the counselors who are smart, and energetic and excited about camp. Both really enjoy the rituals of camp, the activities, the atmosphere and location. And they get just the right amount of the spiritual aspect. They learn things about the world, about friendship.2015 Ranch Camp Parent

Joining us from around the U.S. and the world, Ranch Camp is home to amazing staff members with a passion for inspiring and connecting with young people. Our staff creates a community that cares about each individual and is based on the values of Chesed (Kindness), Achrayut (Responsibility), Kavod (Respect) and Shomrei Adamah (Guardians of the Earth). Bringing a huge range of skill sets, together we create a space filled with adventure, challenge, friendships and connection!
Ranch Program
The Ranch Program, the flagship program of the Ranch Camp, is jam-packed with non-stop high-energy fun from the minute campers wake up in the morning until long after the sun goes down! Through traditional activities and those they never even dreamed they might try, campers test their personal limits while making life long friends and connections.

In the nurturing camp environment, kids learn to shed others’ expectations of who they should be and become at ease with who they are through activities that promote self efficacy and confidence such as horseback riding, sports, challenge course elements and mountain biking. Camp is also a place to let creativity flow through dance, art, and drama.

Mini Camp
Mini Camp is a shortened session and fantastic opportunity for young campers to begin exploring the world outside of the home while in safe, encouraging environment. Our staff members are experienced in meeting the needs of our mini camp age group, creating opportunities for campers to explore new activities and form relationships with their peers.

Mini Campers will leave at the end of their session feeling accomplished and go home with a new sense of independence and strength. They will begin to form camp friendships that will continue to last and grow throughout their summer camp journey for years to come!

Equestrian Program
The EQ Program is the chance your child has been waiting for to spend 2-3 weeks learning horsemanship skills, western riding, horse care, tacking, trail riding and overnight camping. Our small riding groups led by AAHS certified instructors will challenge both beginner and intermediate riders to grow their equestrian skills while making life-long friends in our one-of-a-kind Colorado home!
Teen Trip Programs
With one of the strongest trip programs around, Ranch Camp teens embark on journeys from 4 days to 21 days long, over Colorado and beyond! From backpacking to white water rafting, Sand Dunes to horse pack trips, and from the Colorado Rocky Mountains to the shores of the Dominican Republic, these are the days, the steps and the relationships that empower campers to truly defy limits and define themselves.
